1994 Acura Legend LS 3.2L V6 Start Up, Quick Tour, & Rev With Exhaust View - 129K
1994 Acura Legend
This Legend has the Old C32A 3.2L SOHC V6 which makes 200 HP while paired to a 4 speed auto.. These was a Type-II model available where the engine made 230 HP
Obviously during the revs, you can make out what sounded like a loose Catalytic Converter heat shield. The engine itself also seemed to of had a weak timing belt tensioner as I made out a sloppy noise towards the the front section of the engine.

Bring back that Acura Legend because IT'S ENGINE LOVED THE HIGHWAY

Something is wrong. The car is described as a 1994 Acura Legend LS but the narrator says the car does not have a power seat on the passenger side. The 1994 Acura Legend LS has both front seat powered. This is likely a 1994 Acura Legend L or a base model car. The Acura LS is the next step up and then there is the Acura Legend GS. I have owned both a 1994 Acura Legend LS and a 1994 Acura Legend GS.

    • Lee Sepulvado
      Lee Sepulvado

Knowledge deficit. The 1994 Acura Legend LS and the 1994 Acura Legend GS have both front seats powered. Likely writer was looking at a 1994 Acura Legend L which has only the driver's seat as a powered seat. The passenger side front seat is a manually operated seat in the 94 Acura Legend L..

I love this car a lot better than the new RL-X, let alone any of the RLs including the 1st gen that replaced the Legend. It was ahead of it's time for the 90's and it still looks great to this day even better than some new cars, it reminds me a lot from the CD7 Accord (1990-93) and despite no VTEC, the Type II engine of this car made a lot of power then at 230 HP that it is slightly more than even a 2004 BMW 530i, imagine how quick this engine would be if it had VTEC and DOHC. Sadly, the Legend and the RL/RL-X were FWD (which is basically almost all Hondas) considering they were flagship cars that were designed to compete with the Lexus LS, the Bimmer 5/7 Series and the Benz E/S-Class which were all RWD. I'd buy this car in a heartbeat whenever I get a chance to do so in coupe form with the 6 Speed and the Type II engine, but since the manual is rare, I'd still be content with the auto, at least they aren't as problematic as the ones in the TL/CL and Accord.

This guy showing this Acura is a "ASSHOLE" I had this exact car, color, interior, evertyhing and inherited from my parents, who bought a newer version and who have owned them since 1987 and are now onto the RL's, they have a 2012 RL and love it as well and make the Mercedes look like cheap, german, plastic crap and OMG......he swears while on camera while "trying to sell" it off, and he is a douche! Lets see him write a check for a car like this used or new. Its not going to happen. I loved this car, drove it to a 175,000 miles and we still sold it for what it was worth at that time to the first person that came to look at it. This is A Great car! Loved it so much, you can't buy anything like it anymore. I have a new Acura TSX now, and I would love to have this Legend back. This guy needs to watch his mouth and go show off something that he wishes he could afford!!! He knows nothing about Acuras!

To prevent blown head gaskets, let the car warm for about a minute or two before driving off. Trust me it works.

  • blacuraRL

The name suits this car well, especially the coupe. That coupe is timeless and muscular looking. I'd love a 6 spd type 2 black on black, please :D

the 1991-1995 Acura Legend was assembled in Saitama, Saitama, Japan

  • form109

don't see many Legends anymore...i've only seen a Coupe.

  • White03T4RV82WD

@7477238 I agree, but Acura look mostlylike Hondas. (since they are the same company it's understandable) but I think Toyota/Lexus and Nissan/ Infiniti do a better job of that. They Corollaand Camry are Fine, may not have the best interior quality (only 09-present Corolla and 07-11 Camry) but they are reliable and the Camry with the 3.5L DOHC V6 it flies. They are comfortable and fairly quiet too. The 2012 it better in every why tho.

  • Jamal Terrell

@JakeDaSnakeFilms Similar to the LH cars. There was rampant speculation that these cars were going to bring on a generation of RWD cars but it never happened. The LH cars architecture was lent out into the LX cars though.

  • Jake The Snake Productions
    Jake The Snake Productions

I like it. Are these cars RWD or similar to the Chrysler LH cars?

  • Bigmikelakers

I always liked these Legends even though they look really dated now. You have to watch out for the head gasket problems. I bought a '91 a few years back and as soon as I drove it home, the car overheated. I got scammed big time. Check the head gasket before purchashing one of these please lol.

  • Saabfrk

You have no idea how many times I've done that to myself with the sunvisor in a Sonata at work.

  • Ethan Bryan
    Ethan Bryan

The TSX looks like an Accord, the TL, the and the MDX look like nothing in the Honda line up. The Infiniti M and G and EX look like Nissans to me. Lexus ES is a Camry and the RX is pretty much a highlander.

  • Dashcam Dumbasses

@Jakeman21642 Acura, Lexus and Infiniti do a good enough job differentiating between their Honda, Toyota and Nissan divisions respectively. Only an idiot would mistake one for the other. I like German cars too for their solidity and the road manners but I can credit the Japanese for making excellent cars too but with the exception of Toyota Corolla and Camry lol.

  • Michael Maeng

Wow it kinda starts like a old BMW when you crank them.

  • Jakeman21642

I've never been a fan of acura or lexus. They barely seem any different from the hondas/toyotas they are based off of. Not to mention they are extremely boring compared to german luxury brands like audi or mercedes. An yeah yeah bash german brands for reliability all you want but I still love them!

  • Jamal Terrell
