"But that was the warning chime you got if you left your lights on in your Legend." That line sums up this channel, and I love it.

Love your reviews - but please rate the styling for its original wow factor. That coupe is still hot, almost 30 years later. 7-8 minimum. thanks!

I had this car when I was 20 yrs old in 97 Still one of the best car I ever had. Back then Acura was just like a luxury Mercedes. I remember parts were more expensive than a Benz . So happy to see this video. Brings back great memories.

No mention of the latitudinal engine placement and RWD like axel to dash ratio?! :( Wish Acura stuck with this type of engine layout. Not only their cars would look much more aesthetically pleasing, luxurious and sporty, longitudinal layout has better weight distribution advantages, and easier to make AWD versions. Acura was half way there to make RWD cars. Imagine what the SH-AWD would be with this kind of layout!

The soft close doors were inspired. They really did pioneer this feature. You could spend $100,000 _today_ on a car and struggle to find a vehicle with soft close doors. I'm saying all this, but wondering what the actual benefit of them is. Still, Honda/Acura pioneered them!

Maybe it’s me but ACURA doesn’t make luxury looking cars to me. They look very cheap interior wise.

My next door neighbor's dad was a "car nut", just like me. He regularly came home with the newest, hottest, most talked about cars. He traded his 1990 Maxima in for a 1994 Acura Legend Coupe, with the 6 Speed and it was RED. It was one of the most beautiful and amazing cars I had ever laid my eyes upon and my parents had Jaguars and Mercedes. This Acura was so gorgeous inside. The leather was so supple. He ended up trading it in for a 1997 Mazda MX-6 and he said he always regretted that decision.

Does this dude just secretly hate honda/acura? He hates on so many things. Uhhh type two is STILL a huge deal today. And alternating blinker lights was standard on the 90-93 accord too, certainly wasn't legend exclusive. The clock button was on like literally every honda of that era as well lmao. Guy doesnt know jack about Honda.

Acuras may have been the pioneers of the Japanese luxury car but they don't mean anything these days. Back in the 1990s they were comparable to the fast ascending Lexus. Yet, today they are no more than boring Hondas with leather seats and Lexus has long left it in the dust. One could say the Germans are not losing any sleep because of Acura (nor because of Infiniti for that matter) and are rather noticing KIA/Hyundai luxury efforts, specially Genesis, as a possible next Lexus.
